Hi,
I’m happy that I found your blog again, while reading “How to Write Hot Sex.” It’s the second time I’ve read it: now I’m reading “Friday Night Lipstick.” Could you recommend some other books that you have written?
I am in the midst of transgendering as you might of seen from the terrible photo I sent, and my short bio yesterday.
I am doing this basically on my own. Of course I have an Endocrinologist, Psychologist, and shrink following me.
The problem is that I don’t know anyone going through the same process as me to discuss matters with.
I recently moved back to Montreal about a year ago, because they thought my mother was not going to make it.
I came out years ago, and have been on hormones for of one type or another for five years, depends which Dr. I see.
I would like to meet others who are going through the process of M to F.
Any advice that you can give me would be appreciated. Bars, though I’m not crazy about them, other places, or other people looking to share going through this with someone else.

Thanks for your comment! I’m not a bar person either. My girlfriend had an account at http://urnotalone.com/ but that was years ago, and when I looked at it just now it seems more dating-oriented. I’m in Toronto, so I’m not all that familiar with Montreal’s LGBT resources. Maybe do a web search to see what’s going on where you live?
The publisher where most of my transgender fiction was placed closed down in July, so a whole lot of my work is out of print–including my award-winning “The Red Satin Collection” and honourable mention “My Mistress’ Thighs.” I’m planning to revive them, but not sure when.
I recommend “Take Me There” edited by Tristan Taormino and published by Cleis Press. It’s a Lambda Award-winner and I happen to have a story in it.

Your books are available on Amazon, I no longer buy books as it is easier to read then on tablets and take up less space.
The only books that I buy are reference books on writing.
